In the beginning...

In room 11 we are learning the Maori guardians  in Maori.

Once there was papa the earth mother and rangi the sky father they had sons names Tu,Tane,Rongo,Tawhirimatea, Haumia and Tangaroa.

 Tu is the god of man and war.

Haumia is the god of food.

Tangaroa became guardian of the sea.

Tawhirimatea  became the guardian wind and storm

Tane is the guardian of forest and trees.

Rongo is guardian is the guardian of peace and agriculture.

Wow on Thursday was really cool how they were in the mud I pass a few people on the way to miss Walter and Miss King.When I got to the finished line I slip in the mud.I was so proud that I came 4th place in the fun run
