Mercury is the closest to the sun. Then Venus comes next which is the hottest planet. Earth is the third planet from the sun. Mars is the fourth and Jupiter is next. Then comes Saturn has rings around it made of ice and rock. Uranus is next and it is funny because it spins the other way. Neptune is the eighth planet and is also the coldest as it is the furtherest away from the sun.
